Frontier better not charge me for this month. I am overseas trying to watch tv and this crap doesnt work at all. No service = no payment...

Still not working. I can watch some shows but not the channels I want. Does not recognize I am on my home wireless network or that I am subscribed to all of the channels. Some of the listing are correct, but bring up the wrong channel (secondary digital channel) when viewing. None of the ESPN or Fox Sports Southwest channels are there. Frontier does not seem to be working the issues and has no timetable to get them fixed. Update 5/13/16 Now when you bring up the app you get a "huge" EULA that you must agree to or "terminate your service". Must abide by binding arbitration and not sue. Very interesting indeed for a service that doesnt exist.

App doesnt work yet

It has been a few months since Frontier took over FIOS in my area and this app still doesnt work. It is unable to verify my subscribed channels. Not even the local channels. This is a huge disappointment. Im considering switching to another vendor as this is unacceptable. I travel a lot for work and not being able to stream means I am not using what Im paying for.

Back in Time

I wish it would go back to Verizon. Virtually nothing on demand like FIOS had on the app. Two years backwards with technology.

Dear Frontier, Im sorry to have to tell you this but Im afraid its over. I wanted this to be a match, I really did, but you just cant perform up to my expectations. Im not all that picky, I can work with my partner. Im pretty understanding in fact. But the fact of the matter is - you just cant get your streaming up. Whats a girl to do? Sit and wait for hours on end watching you buffer and buffer? I try to turn you on. I really do. I do everything I can think of. I tap and push and try different rooms. Yet still, nothings happening. You make promises over and over that youre going to "fix it" but Im continually left unsatisfied. Day after day, month after month. Im so frustrated I could chew nails. If this were the only problem maybe Id be a little more willing to work with you, but unfortunately (for me) youre also an embarrassment socially. Weve had parties yet you continually fail to show up. Sports, special events that wed planned and I paid for, favorite TV shows -BASIC SERVICES! - yet Nada. My old partner Verizon always showed. We had a deal. I gave V what we agreed on and I got what we agreed on. I was dumped though and left with you. I didnt ask for this. I didnt agree to this. Now you want more from me and yet give me less - or NOTHING AT ALL! Times I really needed you. Lets take my work for instance. I need your reliable wifi when I conduct my business. My clients depend on it. I depend on it to put food on my table. You show up sometimes then leave early, and totally blow me off at others. I have to deal with your mercurial personality constantly. I have been in business meetings and right in the middle youve bailed. Why? Why would you do this to me? Ive given you everything but you give me only grief, lies, excuses and empty promises - and you are constantly trying to steal money out of my wallet! No more. Im done with you. Ive found somebody new. Someday all the others youre playing with will figure out what a lazy, lying cheat you are, and youll be alone and broke. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you!

Missing basic functionality from Verizon version

I used to use the Verizon app all the time to search for and record shows on the fly, as well as live stream news shows like CNN. But in this app, you cant really do any of that. In this app, you can NOT search for the name of a show—only browse the listings or filter things out. Also, you can NOT record shows when youre out and about. I always recorded things when I was at work and knew I wouldnt make it back in time. And the available shows to "On Now" are ridiculous... the shows I used to stream never show up for mobile viewing, and you cant see what channel the show is, or search for the show you want, so you just have to scroll and browse and hope to find it. Id sometimes watch/listen to stuff live on my way home from work, but not anymore. So... this Frontier app version is useless to me.

Search for a new provider now

This app is my first experience with Frontier Communications; what an unmitigated disaster. They have had months to prepare for this conversion from Verizon, and yet this app looks like they put little to no effort into it. This is clearly a sign of things to come. Definitely time to switch providers. I cant believe Verizon would dump its FIOS customers into such an unqualified and unprepared company as Frontier Communications.

Piece of crap

Piece of crap. Thats all that needs to be said. Just as useless as the box I have in my living room. You have no contracts with networks I pay for. What the hell? Next time you purchase a company, first understand how to run it. And Verizon Fios, way to go selling out your customers. Scumbums.

Frontier - give us a roadmap

Frontier, you might be able to appease a lot of the dissatisfaction if you were to give us a timeline of which mobile app features are going to be available when. We all pay high monthly bills and expect all the features to work no matter who takes over the business.

Disregard For Customers

After an hour navigating "customer support," they admitted the app is no good. Why not let customers know before wasting our time? I was forced to use Frontier after Verizon split. But shouldnt have to pay the same rates for substandard service!

Awful

Im starting to wonder if this company is ever going to get things right. I just signed a 2 year contract with Verizon in February so Im stuck unless I want to pay big early termination fee.

Back to the future

Apparently, a review must have at least one star; otherwise, we would rate Frontier (not just this app) with zero stars. Frontier seems to be encouraging their customers to "cut the cable" and return to 1950s TV viewing habits: watch TV at home as its being broadcast. Of course, other options include free apps (like FizzleFilm.com) and inexpensive options like Netflix, Hulu, Crackle, and Amazon Prime. We have learned about quite a few new TV apps since Frontier took over the Verizon market.

Is this a joke?!?!

Switched to Frontier not by choice on 4/1. Just like the others, I am unable to link my Verizon account. This app wont even let me log in. Loading...loading...loading. Update: it is now the end of the month, and like all the other reviewers, this app isnt working. I at least got past the "loading...loading...loading" section but the app still doesnt work even once you are able to sign in. I went from "loading" to "error code: FM0124."

Is this working for anyone?

I am beyond frustrated with this app and Frontier overall. I cant access any channel without getting the error message that they cant determine whether Im subscribed to the channel or not. Well, I am. This is embarrassing and annoying. Its been a month and this app still does not work. This is something that should have been working from the get-go. Cant wait until contract is up, so I can go back to Dish.

WORST. COMPANY. EVER.

I have NEVER seen a company as bad as this in any industry. Some friendly advice to all Frontier employees: Leave now before the stink of frontier cant be washed off your résumé.

If only

We need minus stars, because Frontier is a big minus!!!! Its been a month since Verizon sold our contract to Frontier....how this deal was good for consumers is beyond me. We have the Ultimate package but I am totally locked out of what should be my subscribed channels (never had any trouble with Verizon mobile app)..I dont blame the app I blame Frontier. We are paying a lot of money for this service but have not been able to fully enjoy ON DEMAND now for a month...my Cinemax, Showtime, EPIX apps dont work because they say we dont have a subscription. The History channel is not ON DEMAND and we are huge fans of the Vikings series. I have written to Frontier twice, received notification that we would hear from them in 24 hours, when "never" would be more accurate. We have one more year left on our contract, we should be able to waive that contract now, if Frontier is unable to deliver the service that we pay for. Shame on Verizon, Shame on Frontier and Shame on whom ever approved this deal...definitely was not consumer friendly. Thank you for giving me a chance to vent. Frontier is AWFUL.

Amateurs

I cannot add any more negative comments to those appearing below. Frontier bought this business from Verizon for $10.5B. Management made the decision to switch all the business from Verizon on April 1 (Aprils Fool?) on the three most populous states in the Union (CA,TX,FL.) That is not bad management. It is sheer stupidity and arrogance. Based on the subscriber comments I believe some attorney firms may be looking into a Class Action Suite. I hope so because we are all paying for services we are not receiving.

Worst experience ever

This app is the worst. It will stop working at times. My channels that I am subscribed to says I am not subscribed. They removed channels that use to be on the app. This whole experience has made me feel as though the joke was on me since April 1. If I could give this negative stars I would. But they did remember to bill me for a service I hate now. I have 2 months left on my contract and I am out.

Worst company ever?

I cant begin to describe the numerous problems with this app and company. Ill list a few since the transition from Verizon. Bear in mind its been a full month since the switch on April 1: 1. Previously purchased movies are gone. Yep, digital movies that we paid for are missing. 2. We cannot access any channels on the app because it says we are not subscribed to the channels. But, we are subscribed to the channels. This has also impacted our ability to access content from the networks directly, too.FX is a good example. We cant access the FX app. 3. Our bill is higher. 4. The On Demand library is a fraction of the prior content. 5. The Internet is slower. Its all a big joke. And they refuse to give any time frame for fixes.
